We liaise with the Creative Industries Council, Creative Industries Federation, ScreenSkills, National and Regional Screen and Creative Agencies, British Film Institute, Animation in Europe and other creative sector trade organisations.Our History
Since its inception Animation UK has highlighted the cross sector strengths of the animation sector and worked on behalf of the children's animation industry to campaign for the introduction of Animation Tax Credit, which successfully came in to force in early 2013. This had an immediate positive impact, doubling investment in animation production.Our History
2016 - Recognising common goals, Animation UK joined in partnership with UK Screen to form the UK Screen Alliance and create a single strong advocacy body for the animation and visualisation sector.Our history
2023 - Animation UK successfully campaigned for an increase to the animation tax relief, which subsequently was extended to include animated features, as well as TV programmes.Read here
