Lupus Films
Animation ProductionLupus Films is a London-based production company set up in 2002 by Camilla Deakin and Ruth Fielding to produce high quality films and TV series for children and families.
Lupus Films specialise in animation, using a wide range of techniques from traditional hand-drawn to 2D digital and CGI, and also produce live-action drama and factual entertainment. Lupus Films’ work has been broadcast in the UK on the BBC, Channel 4, Five, ITV, Disney, Cartoon Network and S4C and in over 150 territories worldwide. Their stories fly from the screen into games, merchandise, books, commercials, apps and more.
Lupus Films are best known for adapting well-loved picture books that feature some of Britain’s most loved children’s characters, including ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’, The Snowman (for ‘The Snowman and The Snowdog’), and ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’. We also take on original scripts and ideas, to create classic stories for the modern age. Lupus Films’ ambition is to tell stories we love, with people they admire. Crafting productions that are beautiful and distinctive, so they last the test of time. Lupus Films believe in creating stories that stay with us – the ones watched by every generation, year after year.
Lupus Films’ productions have won numerous Kidscreen Awards, a CAMEO Award for Best Book to Screen adaptation, and the Best Children’s Televisual Bulldog Award. They have also been nominated for the BAFTA Children’s Award for Animation, British Animation Awards, Broadcast Awards Best Children’s Programme, and the European Animation Awards.
