A Very Special Special That’s Quite Special will premiere on the 15th of April.
Family entertainment producer Fresh TV, leading kids’ entertainment specialist CAKE, Corus Entertainment’s Cartoon Network Canada and Cartoon Network US have teamed up on a brand new Total Dramarama special A Very Special Special That’s Quite Special. The 40-minute adventure premieres on Cartoon Network US on the 15th of April at 10am ET/PT, and on Cartoon Network and Teletoon+ in Canada on the 22nd of April at 7pm ET/PT.
A Very Special Special That’s Quite Special follows our favourite troublesome toddlers on another hilarious and unpredictable escapade. After Duncan destroys their day-care using an unsafe driving app, Chef decides to spend the generous cash settlement on an all-singing, all-dancing cross-country adventure to the infamous Sir Splashalot’s waterpark, where an accidental mix up with a lunchbox, sees our pint-sized heroes chasing gangsters, tech barons and bickering aliens in an attempt to obtain a mysterious and powerful crystalline hashtag.
Aimed at 6-11-year olds, Total Dramarama, the prequel to the multi-award-winning Total Drama franchise, first launched on Cartoon Network US and TELETOON (now Cartoon Network Canada) in 2018, rolling out on Cartoon Network in German-speaking territories, Benelux, Eastern Europe, APAC and Latin America. International broadcasters also include POPTV in the UK, Teletoon and Canal + in France, K2 and DeA Kids in Italy, Super3 in Spain, ABC in Australia and Noga in Israel. Following the series’ strong premiere around the world, two more seasons were produced bringing the total number of episodes to 156.
Total Dramarama is created by Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch and is produced by Fresh TV, in association with Cartoon Network Canada and Cartoon Network US and distributed internationally by CAKE.
