Blue Zoo’s new CG-animated comedy action series is revving up to bring non-stop fun to UK preschoolers in October on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
Produced by the award-winning Blue Zoo Animation Studios (known for The Adventures of Paddington and Numberblocks) in collaboration with Tararaboom, Mojo Swoptops is based on the popular Ladybird book series by Cindy Black and Rich Ward.
The series consists of 52 episodes, each 11 minutes long. Directed by Dominic Minns and Olly Brown, Minns having previously directed smash hit CBeebies show Supertato, Mojo Swoptops is sure to be a new family favourite.
Already, Mojo Swoptops has garnered significant international interest, with pre-sales confirmed in eight major territories. Plans for a second series are already underway, highlighting the show’s anticipated success and long-term potential.
Mojo Swoptops is a co-production between Blue Zoo, Kazoo, and Hotel Bonka in the UK, France, and Belgium, representing a new chapter in international animation production. Mojo Swoptops holds the distinction of being Kazoo’s inaugural project, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting new era in cross-border animation creation.
Mojo is a plucky little truck who can tackle any job with a quick swop of a top. Fire truck? On it! Helicopter? No problem! Crane top with a giant great big wrecking ball? Well, they’re only trying to get a cat out of a tree… but let’s give it a go! Mojo’s best friend, Bo, joins the fun with a toolbox full of talent and a whole load of big ideas. When the good folks of Swoppiton are in a pickle, they know just who to call. Our dynamic duo shifts into high gear, racing to the rescue with laughter and can-do spirit as their fuel! Mojo and Bo are revving up to go, and so are the laughs, the friendship, and the brilliant problem-solving swops to save the day.
Mojo Swoptops will be racing onto CBeebies and BBC iPlayer on 7 October 2024.
